This week I'm reading – primarily – the following 2 books:

"SlaughterHouse - Five" by Kurt Vonnegut

"Dauntless" by Marcus Follin

The former is a classic fiction and a swift read. I'm nearly done with it.

The latter is a non-fiction. It's kind of an all-inclusive lifestyle, health, philosophy, and general masculine development guidebook. It's interesting, to say the least. I loved the part about epigenetics. Marcus is a Swede, and overall the topics and discussions in the book are quite insightful. This guy really knows history. However, he blends a sort of, modern esoteric health lifestyle with his political views (which are pretty far right), and these extremes can lead to him writing some things that make you think, "hmm....I don't know about all that." But, I'm also pretty neutral on the political scale, at least relative to modern standards and you may notice that I never discuss politics. I don't care to do so. But I'm pretty sure Marcus is pretty involved in Swedish politics, so it's to be expected.

I share the picture of the table of contents to give you an idea of what Marcus Follin covers in this book. He has a second book that I think I'll eventually read.

I actually began reading this book in January or February (like I mentioned before, it always takes me awhile to get through non-fiction as I prioritize fiction reading these days). I just recently picked it back up and decided to work through the final 100 or so pages.

Again, I think there are some very interesting topics, tips, and words of wisdom shared that could be beneficial to most men – particularly the younger generation. It's almost like this book contains his rite of passage guidelines for becoming a "glorious man."
